So, after failing miserably in doing what I actually had to do last night so I could go to class today, I'm not going to class today... eh.. I deserve a bit of a break...
In other news... I keep being tagged on facebook notes!!! wth? The 20 random things, like the one I posted below has turned into 25!
I haven't done the posting thing and am resisting the urge to get lured into the trap...
SO! here are my 25 random things as I would post them on facebook... my family is on FB, I must censor some stuff....
The New and Improved Twenty-Five, yes! 25!!! random things about me:
1. I love taking quizzes, I even have subscriptions to silly sites just so I can take quizzes!
2. I hate bleach, my nose, my eyes and my skin can't stand it.
3. I hate butterflies and moths. Seriously...
4. I abuse the (...) as I type. I'd like to think that I'm making dramatic... pauses...
5. I really can't see myself not studying, unless it is because I'm out in the field
6. I write a lot. It doesn't have to make sense. in fact, it is often nonsense.
7. I can easily write in Spanglish. As in de momento interchange entre Espanol and Ingles and keep typing a la misma velocidad. Can do the same while talking.
8. Eight is in fact my favorite number. How it is written, in both English and Spanish (eight and ocho) and how it looks in numbers! 8888 It is also the vertical version of infinity!

10. I love spices. The spicier the food the better.
11.When I was little I used to say that I would travel the world and write a book with each chapter detailing my experience in each destination. I still REALLY want to do this.
12. Feet are gross, the only feet I'm willing to touch are mine (because I have to) and my nephews/nieces while they're small.
13. I think we should save the turkeys and bunnies are evil
14. I like to say that things are made of *insert random thing here* Like, I am made of sleep. You are made of awesome. She is made of cheese.
15. The only thing I really like about facebook is writing random things in my status.
16. I REALLY enjoy intellectual arguments! I don't need to be involved in them, I like listening to them and getting lost in people's conversations.
17. I love listening to cello and violin music
18. I am a pro-independence Puerto Rican. I'd prefer statehood than the current status quo
19. I'm agnostic, a feminist, I'm pro-choice, anti-war, pro-animals and anti-vegan :p
20. Don't believe global warming is THAT big of a deal (not the first time it has happened historically and it won't be the last time, people complain about global warming now, wait till the next Ice Age)

22. I know how important faith is to people. You hold on to it, it keeps you company, it makes you feel secure and it helps you keep hope. Why should I take it away from someone else who can enjoy it and be happy?

24. I'm a gamer, and Harry Potter fan, deal with it!
25. I secretly know that I'd be really happy with being a grade school teacher... or working with smaller kids
This will sound silly, but #25 makes me feel silly...
So I'd change it to something else... anything else
25. All my notebooks seem to have a lot of notes from class. That's not really it. I'm just writing nonsense. Specially if I'm writing in the margins, I am just writing one of the following:
- random things: like lyrics to songs or commercial slogans (trust the midas touch kind of deal)
- to do lists: self explanatory
- whatever happened the day or hours before: can't give an example without incriminating myself (these are written in Spanish)
- whatever's going through my head at the moment: like, I'm so sleepy, I need to pee, why is he talking again? (also written in Spanish)
